How Can You Become Inclusive by Design? With Asad Dhunna, Founder of The Unmistakables

Many businesses and brands have made pledges to become more inclusive and to stamp out racism, but how do you get there practically?

Asad leads an award-winning consultancy that makes diversity everyone's business. In this talk he will share his experience of what the change in the social and political climate means for brands, and what he has learnt working with C-suites and leaders on earning the right to respond to social justice movements

Asad is the founder of The Unmistakables - an award-winning consultancy that makes diversity everyone's business. He's on a mission to help organisations navigate their way through diversity & inclusion and leads on growing the business and overseeing work with clients such as the England and Wales Cricket Board, HSBC, Fremantle and Penguin Random House. In 2019 he told attendees of Cannes Lions about why we don’t need another diversity talk and has been shortlisted as a change maker by Oystercatchers, The Drum and Campaign. He was recently featured on the IPA’s ‘iList’ - a selection of trailblazers for inclusivity in the marketing industry - and has been named an LGBT+ leader by The Dots and Adweek.

Asad held senior positions at Weber Shandwick and FleishmanHillard, managing award-winning work for HSBC, Netflix, Expedia, Freeview and TK Maxx. He also was the first Head of Marketing at Triptease, an award-winning travel technology start-up.

Asad volunteered as the Director of Communications for Pride in London in 2018 and 2019 and is currently a board trustee for akt - the LGBT+ homelessness charity.
